Are you moist enough?

What's a girl's best friend?

It used to be diamonds, a sea of shoes, shelves of branded handbags, gorgeous sheer laced dresses, or even that deadly love-hate relationship with chocolate.

But I'd say not anymore. With Vaseline's launch of new skincare lotion, its about time we women (and men) look at what's ''really'' best for our skin.

Our skin gets destroyed easily by over-exposure to the sun, lack of water, or even from being in an air-conditioned room for too long!!!

Do you want back your old baby bottom skin? How in the world can you get back that lovely fluffy smooth texture?

Well, you can do that by purchasing from Vaseline's range of moisturizing lotions ranging from Aloe Fresh, Total Moisture,Healthy White, and Intensive Resue!!

I've bought two of the above to try out, and I must say I'm nothing short of impressed.

Healthy White:
- skin lightening lotion
- at the same time, ensures that your skin is fully moisturized

Total Moisture:
- slightly more moisturizing than healthy white
-contains that essential Vitamin E that works as an anti-aging agent reducing wrinkles and fine lines!

See even Kitty is mad happy about my purchase!! ♥ ♥

But WAIT!!

When's the best time to apply moisturizer?

A: Moisturizers work its best right after a shower, when the skin's pores are open and supple, making it soak up all the goodness in a moisturizer 5 times more easily than normal.

Its best as well to apply it at night before you go to bed, especially so if you sleep in an air conditioned room.

Now with Vaseline, dry skin is the least of my worries when I wake up in the mornings. Long gone are the terrible days of white skin flake lines over my arms and legs.

Photobucket
I can now sleep better with Vaseline!!

And there's absolutely no excuse for you lazy bums to not bring around your lotion saying its too heavy to bring that damn bottle on vacations. That's because Vaseline has been smart enough to also create travel-friendly bottle sizes!!

So ladies and germs, get your very own Vaseline today!! Save your skin before its too late!!!

Ben & Nick's Diner : Review

We organised a farewell dinner for two absolutely, unforgettable friends, who are all so grown up now flying off to UK to further their studies *SOBS* . I feel like a mom who has to see her two kids leave the country wtf.

Ok fine they are hardly that much younger than I am but its been a rollercoaster ride with them an awesome memories have formed in such a short time :)

Ben & Nick's Diner is a really tiny restaurant to be honest, but because of this its got a lovely old homey feel to both its exterior and interior.

And to explain the funny naming you are gonna read, that came out because we decided to give ourselves porn name aliases. HAHA!!

Balsamic mushrooms as appetizers (RM11.90)

Its a good dish, but you must like balsamic vinegar! Didn't like it though because it had parsley and I fuckin hate parsley.

Photobucket
More than half the table ordered this dish! I like how the chicken has been marinated properly in spices :)

Photobucket
Mine! I loved the creaminess of the cajun sauce (RM15.90)

Everybody was happily digging into my dish. I did not even say "Please try" yet ==

I'd settle for being a fuckin hot nerd.

Ben & Nick's Diner was a pretty pleasurable chill out experience, and the service there is awesome. I think its run by a middle-aged couple , they are super nice and sweet!!! I love it when I go to a place with great service.

AN OPENING!!

Yay for the job hunt!

Well I didn't exactly get the job I wanted, but I tried applying to this event management company. and yay! I scored an interview!! The interview should be this Thursday :) Kinda excited and dreading the idea of finally working. No more glorious days of bumming at home. Sadness.

I tried applying to this site called Jiggee, and their response was so cute!

Do hope they'll interview me though. I liked their website and presentation the most out of all the jobs I applied for.

I'm just gonna upload a bunch of random pictures today. Meh.

I felt like saying ""Fuck you world"" hence my weirdly coloured nails that day.

And everyone should so totally get Photoscape!! Its so mad awesome!!!!

Pictures below are me preparing for a friend's birthday party.

I played around with "Saturation Mode"

Used ''Luminance" and "Saturation" mode together

My outfit that night! loves.

Shoes from ChiangMai
Skirt for only rm12.90! (I am such a cheapo buyer)
Top from Topshop (also cheapo buy)
Hairband from F21 .

Actually you'd be surprised but F21 sells the cheapest accessories ever. MUCH cheaper than DIVA which is a rip off in my opinion.

Terrible passport photos

I've always hated passport size photos. No matter how much make up you put, or how well you try to dress yourself the photographer is sure to always mess the photo up.

For example, like my most recent sized passport photo:

Photobucket

I mosaic-ed my eyes out coz they looked imbalance and weird. Can you believe the photographer made me wear a horrible looking work blazer over my shirt? He refused to take my photo if I didn't wear it saying I will look very unprofessional.

But now that I actually have to apply for a job I adamantly refuse to use such a fugly photo of myself. Who wants to hire such an employee???

So JoJo & I have decided to make our own passport photo after highly photoshopping it *ahem* .

Photobucket

I couldn't make up my mind what background I wanted so I decided to use the ladies restroom coz they had nice wooden cubicle doors. HAHAHAHAHA!

Then hurrah to at least decent looking passport photos!!! (I think my make up look a wee bit funny that day but I'm too lazy to retake new pics)

I wish I can use this hair. :'(

ChiangMai - Stuff I got!

Just came back from a family trip from ChiangMai. My parents are damn pro at buying zero fare tickets so we decided to give ChiangMai a try. Turns out to be not so nice after all :(

I definitely woudln't advice it as a place to travel to as it doesn't have much touristy stuff to do. Mostly just visit temples and ride on elephants (probably the ONLY attraction). Its only worth going if you have a lot of money to spend on those extreme sports like gibbon swings or those jungle trek dirt rides.

Shopping isn't that great either, its better off you head to Bangkok instead for a more fun shopping experience and a cheaper one too. Clothes in Chiangmai are so expensive! Like shopping back in Malaysia =___= I expected to buy loads of stuff but I only bought a "moderate" amount of stuff . ahem.

Anyhoo shopping pics make me happy!

Photobucket
funky earrings at rm2/each

Photobucket

Photobucket

Cute shirts I got from rm10-rm20 (that one also I bargain like hell ok)

Photobucket

I absolutely love this top that has cute butterflies all over it and a big bow at the bottom!

Photobucket

Photobucket
Super cute b(ear)phones that I couldn't resist! only rm8.

Photobucket

knick-knacks, hairbands, and camera pouches.

One redeeming factor about Chiangmai is that their shoes are mad cheap!! Me and my mom bought quite a few coz its only rm10 for one. Siao boh??

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

My asbolute fav!! (this was rm40 though)

So that's it for my shopping hauls! Makes me never wanna shop in Malaysia again. Thai people have such an awesome sense of fashion, you hardly every find fugly clothes in Thailand :D
