Amsterdam II - Before suwen came
There was nothing much to do while waiting for my friend Suwen (a long complicated story) so we spent the 1st day just exploring certain parts of Amsterdam.
Amsterdam's canals are absolutely gorgeous and are constantly full of traffic. River cruises are organised daily, you can even have dinnner onboard if you want!
Our hotel looked totally different from what we booked online. It was small, cramped, and we had to walk up 8 flight of steep stairways to reach our damn room. The whole place was too old and too small to have a lift. So imagine poor us lifting our 10kilo luggage bag all the way up!!
So like I said, we spent the most part of the day taking in the sights.
And so here comes the most not worth it part of the whole trip. Presenting to you the
I swear I really really thought it looked waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better in the brochure!! I was like "Hey guys! this place looks amazing! Let's go let's go let's go!"
We all thought it would just be 30mins walk on the map.
Mana tahu. We ended up walking for 1 hour and 30mins.
And everyone was expecting something awsome at the end of that walk but they were greeted with this lousy bridge:
Sha says it looks like a "Rumah Buka Puasa" doing Ramadan month.
Zhen now calls this bloody thing "Cheryl's bridge"
.......
You know I love you all! *nudges ankles*
Dinner helped a lot though in restoring our spirits. We were all on a major budget trip as my dad conveniently forgot to bank in money for me, we scouted around endlessly for a good meal.
Which led us to the 5euro for every pasta stall!
Turned out to be one of the bestest ever pasta I've ever had my whole life.

Amsterdam's train station.
Saw birds nesting under a bridge. Utterly adorable
Visited a condom store that had every condom flavour imaginable. and other funky condom shapes :D
Sha has this thing about collecting HardRock pins from all over the world
I like the pins from HardRock Pittsburg and SanFran

Amsterdam I
I know I went to Amsty waaaaaaaaay back in June and this post is long overdue. But better done than never rite?? hee hee!
xxx
Amsterdam really is all its made out to be.
Yes, there will be wooden clogs.
Yep, weed is legal too. (more on weed later)
I was dissapointed to later find out these lollipops were fake weed. They just had disgusting weed flavouring wtf. Rip off!
The infamous Red Light District actually went over expectations ( more on that later and yeah we visited it every night!)
And hell yeah, you get to see Zhen hump a giantastic penis.

You cannot attach small things to big stuff
A small head on a too big poster doesn't look good.
And I'd say it again, attaching big things to a small horse just doesn't make sense.
But heck it must impress the females.
Its probably bigger than a lot of male humans we know. HHAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I miss rugged european men........
Photos are taken from my trip to Amsterdam & Barcelona:
Sigh, men from Amsterdam are always in pairs, & all seem inevitably gay T_T. But gawd, they are gorgeousness........we met a handsome blonde George Micheal lookalike on the train seated next to Tracy but we were to shy to take a photo together with him!!!
WASTED >_<
Barcelona's beaches are the best though. Coz that's when you get to see some skin. miaaaaooowwwrrrr....

Pixie Lott is my new style icon.
Coz i'm soooo into blazers right now. Haven't acquired one yet but once I have found 'the one' I will be wearing it almost every day!

Sigh. I miss everything there is about UK.
Hell. I even miss Asda.
I miss seeing buy 2 for the price of 1.
I miss buying fresh milk every week for 80p.
I miss how I could never sweat in the UK.
I miss Virgintv.
I miss littlebritain (ok, I can watch this on youtube so not too bad).
I miss taking the trains around UK.
I miss snuggling under a warm duvet.
I actually miss those stupid quaking ducks and the mute swans near our lake. Remember girls how fierce the swans were???
I miss my girls left behind in UK *tears*
Its true what everyone says. Once you leave UK, you'd wish you're back there all over again. Sigh!
