My coursemates Jamie, Mel & Tracy being December babies, we decided to throw a birthday bash for them to make-up for their birthdays last year as well ( we... *ahem* kinda just brought them to Swensons at which they 'paid for their own meal' and we never got them any presents *ssshyy* I'm so sorry guys!)
So the gang and I meticulously planned their birthday 2 weeks ahead! This time gonna make sure that they will enjoy their b-day kau kau!
It was a whole day thing. In the morning, the girls all went to pluck their eyebrows. It really is rather funny how shaping your brows can make such a huge difference to your face! It makes my eyes look bigger and your face look less tired. I tried to convert Mel to "be a man!" (watch Russel Peters on Youtube) and have his brows shaped. But unfortunately, haiya! A biiiiiiiiitt more persuasion and we might have succeeded!
Seriously lar, men should be more metrosexual and stop thinking eyebrow plucking is only for girls. Men need to be groomed too!
Maybe I should get Tiong How to do it too? hohoho!We went to sing-k at Red Box at the 12pm lunch slot. Food at RedBox seriously sucks lorr.. but the songs selections there are really good. Probably the best so far that I've been compared with the other k-places. I'm the most happy about the English songs at RedBox because they actually use the real MTV video instead of those videos with ugly women in the 80's doing soft porn by rolling around in a bikini who thinks she's hot.
It is really disturbing to see a video like that when you're singing to songs from Fergie. Damn irritating!!!

J.Co doughnuts are seriously soooooo fresh!! You can actually see the staff there running around carrying trays of doughnuts in front of you.
And taking the first bite into it....
Oh so delicious!!! The glazed doughnuts (where they smear sugared water on top) taste the best!! When you dig your teeth into it, you can actually feel the crisp texture of sugar crack and it is absolutely heavenly to the tongue.. *droooools* I want my J.Co again!!

Mel & Jamie went to pretty up at my house that afternoon. The shorts that I had initially bought the day before with the intent to save it up for chinese new year was short lived. I ended up wearing them yesterday. hohohohoo!

And there was JoJo!! My surprise for you all! We haven't seen each other in ages! Jojo darling had come 30 whole mins earlier just to pick up their birthday cake and to book a table for them at Kenny Rogers.

Really respect them. Mak had to circle for a full hour in The Curve car park before he could find any parking. I never knew that The Curve could have so many people! Poor them were so hungry when they finally reached Kenny Rogers..... At least it makes the chicken ever so much more satisfying ^^

And after that, it was time to go clubbing! Sammie had booked a table at a club and we had open bottle. Sanctuary's DJ is FREAKIN GOOD. He really knew how to manage the club and got everyone in the mood to dance. I love to sing-a-long as I dance my telletuby move.

But do you know what is the silliest part of the whole birthday celebration???? I completely forgot to bring out their presents. IDIOT!!!!! *pulls hair!!* I had left it in my room. So later that night we went over to my place to open the pressies. It was just unfortunate that Jamie's bf wanted her to go back earlier so she couldn't make it to my place T_T
