This is the post I am most excited to do! (as usual when it comes to food :P) A collection of some of the food I've had around Berlin + Swiss.
Its better than anything I will ever eat in UK *T_T* . Except Scotland but that's beside the point.
In Berlin.......
They are undoubtedly most famous for their German
Bratwurst
Currywurst
Aaron & I ate them almost everyday that we were there. We just couldn't get enough! I wish I could have brought back some to freeze but it just wasn't convenient to buy any at the time. Sadness!! No one understands pork like the Germans do. Even Hitler himself looks a bit porkish.
Ooooo~! I just realised 90% of all the meat I'm posting is pork!
Roasted Ham
Oh, my gawd.
This... store.. I remember it......was heaven.
The prices were pretty expensive, like 1euro more ex than all the other stores that sell the same stuff but ohmygawd.....

This little baby was worth every Euro.
Ham sandwhich that costed 4.50euros, = rm 25.
But...but...
When you sink you teeth into that juicy piece of pork the meat is so tender, and the taste of the savoury meat is sooo delish, everything in the world seems just right at that moment. I know, I sound like that stupid japanese anime cooking master boy but wow, I dunno how else to describe good pork :D
I know.Random.Just wanted to show-off new shoes Aaron bought for me.
But we must pull our teeth out of this one and move on...
When I was there, I took a leaf out of Kennysia's book and went to look for a McDonald's to see how different their menu is.
Aaron's order. You know you want one. LOL.
Aaron + Mcburger = McDonald Happy Meal
My order
Dammit after eating this, the Germans can do no wrong when it comes to pork. Its pork rib patty drowned in McDonald's secret pork sauce sandwhiched in soft bun. Uber Uber good. If I had 3 thumbs, it would get all 3! (cuz it deserves more than a 2 thumbs up. I know. LAME)
We didn't eat fast food/corner shop food all the time, sometimes we had proper sit down meals at a nice restaurant. I particularly loved the one we went to at Unter Den Linden (lazy to check spelling so it may be wrong).
The name of this restaurant is called blah blah blah. You can find it easily coz its the only German restaurant that has an english menu on the outside :D
So romantic!
Interior
Me in my bird-pattern dress. This is the only time you will see a photo of me revealing skin in Berlin coz its just too fuckin cold.
Meat patty (I think it was pork again) + fried potatoes with bacon with salad on the side. This meal is again, to die for!
Playing with my food. My mom sure scold me.
Aaron's meal was huge. Underneath that sunny side up is two chicken breast meat and a massive plate of fries and obviously, with salad on the side.
When the waitress came to clean up our meal, I had finished mine entirely and he had left half the plate full. She gave him funny looks coz he couldn't finish it! HAHAHAAHAHAHA!!! And I was supposed to be the girl :P
For breakfast we tried this coffee-store right opposite our hotel.
Hm. Keep your eyes only on the sandwhich.
Creamy pastry with sugar coating
I love getting window seats while having breakfast
German Beer
Bacon flakes! SUper delish, taste exactly like fried bacon. lol
Breakfast before going to the zoo.
This is where I tried my first Punani Panini.
Cam-whoring is an art!
On our last night in Berlin we had Japanese. I had amazing sushi cravings but I've never gotten around to eating sushi in the UK coz its too darn expensive! Ok, it wasn't any cheaper here but it was a sushi buffet for 15euros :D
Ate until wanna die. We think the chef purposely put loads of rice into the sushi so that we will get fuller faster and eat less. HAHAHAHAHA!!
~ Zurich ~
Actually, I took extremely few pictures in Zurich coz by then, I was getting extremely lazy of taking photos of food coz it meant I can't eat them immediately. The novelty had worn off :P I remember this pizza parlour which I loved very much though. I wanted to eat here because of its name, "Pizzeria Romantica"!!! - authentic Italian.
The chef really was Italian. I loved the way he took our orders, coz he would reply with a thick italian accent and string in a few words of italian. He could be calling me 'chinese whore' and it would still sound romantic coz its in italian.....and also coz of my lack of knowledge of Italian.
Every table was decorated like this. awwwww~~~!!
Aaron's beer.
Appetizer, of olives and crumpets.
This salad was good! Forgot what its called but Aaron recommended it. Its fresh mozarella cheese with tomatoes and lettuce. I've never enjoyed salads very much but this was refreshingly delicious!
