Absinth
Remember the GreenFairy in Eurotrip movie??
I've always wanted to try Absinth since then but I've never gotten the chance too. Its always been that elusive drink that's been ban in this country, even in the UK. People have been saying 'ooh, I've smuggled this in from France, Australia, Mother Russia etc etc.'
It doesn't help that I am kinda allergic to alcohol until I found this new anti-histamine pill that actually helps stop the allergy! Only then dare I try out this notorious drink.

I couldn't find the next pic, but you're suppose to set the sugar on fire, let it melt, n drop it in.

Then basically the drinking part, I don't have a pic of me drinking it but I bet it looked something like this:
Seriously, the first few sips I had I felt it burn my lips, and the burn going all the way down my throat and stomach. The alcohol wasn't disgusting, in fact it tasted rather nice! I just couldn't take the strong burning sensation! Thank God my guy friend next to me saw that I coudldn't take it anymore and helped me finish the rest of the drink. LOL.
I told Debbeh about this, and she said went she went to Spain, they had loads of other different flavoured absinth!
Then I went google search and saw so many other types!! So many cute colours I wanna try all. Hahaha!
I like Mango flavoured stuff, wud love to try it someday!
The one I drank was only 60%. I cannot imagine how 85% must taste like. According to some friends who took it as shots and WITHOUT the fire or sugar, it smells like nail varnish. yuck.

Review: Instant shrimp wanton noodle
Yea I know damn stupid probably no one has ever reviewed instant noodles for free when there is no contest/moolah being paid.
But its just that, I never knew there was such a thing as instant shrimp wanton nooodle!!
How awsome is that!! I saw it in Carrefour the other day and me being a big fan of all things instant I bought it.
Only after I bought it then I read the instructions at the back say need to microwave. wttf. I forgot I got no microwave. So just throw the whole thing into a pot of hot water. Neeh!
Ok la, it looks a bit gross coz I put too much water. But not you eat also. LOL.
Actually I forgot to take a pic of the wanton prawns coz that's the most nicest bit!! It tasted almost like fresh prawns! So fat & juicy summore, I love it when I bite into prawns and all that goey oil-juice thing comes out. Yum!
Then I threw in cheese.
I know i know, instant noodles and cheese?
But actually turned out pretty good!
But word of caution, you must really really love cheese. Otherwise hor, it gets pretty sickening near the end.

I just wanna show off my new pink chopsticks. Before I bought them, Debbie was asking me "Eh better not buy, I'm scared later the paint will chip off the chopsticks, and I'd be kinda poisonous"

Today I died I went to heaven and came back
*THis post has been updated!*
I remember this day.......fml actually I forgotten what date these series of events happened. Whatever,the story must go on, it was sometime last week.
Probably the most awsome foodie day in my piggy life. And I'll reinforce that with a solid "OINK!"
Today also happened to be 'nerd' day for all of us. Somehow we all damn kau lazy to wear contacts or put on much make up that day, a decision I'd regret forever. But I'll explain later.
"Today" was awsome because I tried mochi ice cream for the first time.
Stitch in JoJo's car! Isn't he so awsomely cute? Everytime I go into her car nowadays, I 'hi' JoJo then my two fingers extend out to pat good'o' stitch's buttcheeks!!
Then, we headed off to meat-lover heaven, okay, pork-lover heaven at...
I cannot describe to you how much I love meat. And how much I love burgers.
I won't bother writting about how I got to know this place coz its all over the blogsphere. I came here for that juicy,succulent, pork and all I wanted to do is to dig my teeth into it.
I asked the Christang's Kuli (seriously, he introduced himself to us that way!) what's good here, and he recommended "THE URBAN LEGEND"
Then, Her Majesty arrives (seriously you hardly ever hear me talking about food this way. Which means it is seriously beyond awsome).
ZOMG. Heaven. heaven.heaven.,heaven.
How do I describe my feelings? I couldn't eat fast enough because its just so good, I can't get enough, but I couldn't eat slow enough to slowly savour it and revel in its cost, of rm30.80.
Yes, its one expensive high maintenance bitch.
BUT OH GOD, She was worth every cent T^T
Then later we called the Kuli back asked him "What desserts are good here?"
He recommended the buttercake dish, a dish he claimed was so full of sinful butter the devil himself sent it back from hell because it was too sinful. damn punny. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!
And then hor, and then hor (sorry I super excited. we all were), I saw Cheesie! I've been a fan of her blog for over a year and was really rather shocked to see "EEEEHH!! She's eating here too!"
Felt a bit paiseh going over to her table just to ask whether we can take pics with her. Coz she was with a huge group of friends. Plus 'today' I was dressed up super ah so, specs and all, in my over-sized comfort-tee.
Then imagine standing next to one of your favourite bloggers n having to take a fugly pic of urself with her. FML.
Reminded me of the last time I saw Xiaxue (another famous blogger) but I didn't dare take any pics with her coz I just came out of Bugis Street and my armpits stank.
Super super soft fuuurr!! I wish my Rotweiller was this nice to hug.
Later when it was my turn Koyuki came up and kiss (ok slobbered) all over my mouth. I dunno whether to be over-the moon happy that she loves me or upset that I now have dog saliva on my mouth. LOL!!

So kuai lo. If its my Rotweiller, confirm he sapu finish all the pork burger on that table. He won't just sit back and stare.

CNY Shopping Haul!!
Fuckin Hell I almost went over-budget this year.
But I must admit its been a long-time since I had this much of a shopping haul! Weeeeeee!!!!!

There's actually a story behind it. Suwen & I were looking through these pile of clothes and for some reason when we both saw it and (specifically me) we started laughing & laughing for like 20mins straight till my tummy hurt.
