Yes its tacky, its unoriginal, but its safe and matches everything!! What's not to love?

8. My Swarovski Love Pendant

Photobucket

So what if my ex gave it to me? :D I am very well capable of detaching emotion from material items. Its still a bloody useful skill and this is a bloody beautiful necklace that I absolutely treasure to the MAX!

9.Fake lashes

Photobucket
Now the collection is still kinda pathetic coz I keep buying and spoiling them so only left this much *sob sob*. But thanks to them my pathetic cina eyes now look 5000 huger.

10. VINTAGE POSTER!!

Photobucket
found this poster in MPH & bought it immediately.

Photobucket
Remember this gum??????????????????????????? !!!!

I use to buy it all the time for 10cents!! My very 1st bubble gum which I learnt to blow 'em huge rubbery bubbles!!!

Photobucket

Aaaargghh!! I loved this stuff!!!!! Dad use say they were poisonous just to deter me from eating them.

Photobucket
OMG. Remember these sweets? The chocolate tasted so weird but I use to keep buying them coz their cheap and there's something about that no.8 shape that's irresistable....

Photobucket
wah sai, I remembered these cost 10cents too. Then you had to blow really really hard to get anything out of it (wtf that sounded wrong)

Photobucket

The ahma body powder. Bcoz your grandma is bound to have used it and makes you use them as well back when you were a kid!!!!

And here ends the walk down memory lane.

My Date Night

Speaking as a single girl, its kinda hard to bring up memories of a 'date night'.

I've never ever had particularly horrible ones where I've been stood up, waiting at the door for my prom date for 3 hours. The most guys ever did to me was blew me off on a date ALWAYS with an sms a few hours before the date itself.

To which then I will continue to curse him then pamper myself with a movie night in, a facial, and ice cream.

And its not to say I've never had lovely romantic ones. Its just to say their with an ex. And... I don't particularly want to remember or see any pictures of any romantic times with him either!!!!

The question begs then, what can I write for this post?

I will write on the best dates I've ever crashed in and being a lightbulb on other people's dates.

In particular, my best friend and her toy boy, Sha & Suwen

Its no secret that wherever they are, there's a 90% chance I'm bound to be there.

Strangers will ask: "Why don't you feel weird? Being the only person sandwiched in between a lovey dovey couple?"

To you total stranger I will answer: "Nay, I carry my lightbulb duty with pride and I'll continue to shine brighter still."

Just equivalate me to Ted Moseby in Lily's & Marshall's relationship in the show How I met your mother

Photobucket
See I'm even thick-skinned enough to sit in between them.

Photobucket

I was in between during their dating days even BEFORE they got together!

Photobucket
I dragged in a few other light bulbs too during their day date at the beach, ahem.

In this pic I'm sluttily applying lotion on Cabbage in front of the loving couple.

Photobucket

Hell, was even there for their Christmas dinner. They never even had one alone with just the two of them :D

Guiltily,I admit maybe I've been there one two many times to their dates.

Therefore it would be awesome if I could win 2 tickets to the movie "Date Night".

I'll bring his lovely girl Suwen out, and Sha can pay for his own ticket. HA!

As a woman....

Always be as strong as you can be. Stand like a mountain against the fiercest storms. Or at least like steel against the strong winds on the streets when you're wearing six-inch heels.

Always keep friends you love close. Always remember them. Always be there for them.

For as independent as you are, no one wants to be alone all the time and end up living with 900 cats.

As when it comes to love & men, like beer & cheap wine, be careful so you don't take more than you can drink.

Sometimes its okay to fall. Then you let it out and cry.

Heck, even eat all the ice cream in the fridge if you want to. But remember to diet tomorrow.

And as a woman, what you must do love, is eventually pick up those broken pieces.

Get yourself back together.

Now look in the mirror. I'm sure you look pretty terrible. Straighten your hair, wear your best dress.

Slowly turn the knob of the door to the blinding sun outside.

It takes courage, strength, love, and compassion to step out and face the world.

For that's what real women are.

(ok end of my crappy poem. i emo )

China & Snowy Mountain (III)

Sienz already blogging about bloody China!!!

Last post then I'm done about President Mao's land.

Probably the highlight of my trip was visiting Snowy Mountain. I have a love hate relationship with snow. I will be like YAY! SNOW! on day 1, and on the second day if it snows again I get really peeved and wonder when is it gonna stop snowing.

Photobucket
The tribes from all around China did a really impressive performance. (apparently the director is the same dude who directed the Beijing Olympics 2009)

Photobucket
Because we were so high about sea-level my mom had a bit of trouble breathing >_<

Photobucket

I was effin addicted to this biscuit. I ate this as much as I ate rice!!

Photobucket
My brother the terrorist. LOLOLOLOLOLOL. wtf if I saw him on the tube I would think he had bombs strapped underneath his jacket.

Before we went up the mountain the tour brought us to this seriously gorgeous lake at the foot of the mountain:

They have seaweed in there called "spiralli seaweed" which apparently only grows in a few parts of the world!

Photobucket

Oh another advice, never go to China during CNY. Because its a public holiday for all of China. Then guess how many people are on holiday in China.

Bingo.

We ended up queuing for 3 hours just to sit on a bloody cable car to snow mountain. GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photobucket

Photobucket
Snow snow snow!!!!!!

Photobucket
Totally snowed in. Quite scary isn't it? It was especially heavy snowfall that day.

Photobucket

To be honest I only stayed outside in the snow for a total of 5 grand minutes. Then I couldn't take it anymore and ran back into the shelter.

Photobucket

I'm bloody shit when it comes to cold weather. and it was only -15degrees!!

Photobucket

Photobucket

One thing I really like about this place is that are the only culture that still uses hieroglyphics (FUCK!! I actually spelt it right on the first try! Am I awesome or what?).

Photobucket

Dongba is the name of the village. But it also means village Shaman.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Eg. This one means 'to give or offering'

Photobucket
This one means snow is falling.

Photobucket
This one means 'with child'

The coolest thing is that they are all still being used today :D

Photobucket
Their really cool totem. The many many faces on the totem is suppose to symbolize the spirits of the dead and of nature.

Something equivalent to the meaning 'The gods are amongst us"

Photobucket

In dongba language that means: Yak Meat! (which is awesome btw)

And this concludes my post on China!
